BCI Mine buses
These are our highly visible Macreas Gold Mine buses. They are on set rosters, taking staff to and from the gold mine in the morning and evening.
We also use these during school hours. These BCI coaches have 41 or 55 seats, great for getting large groups across town. They are highly visible, and as a bonus, kids love looking at the mining pictures along the sides.
They are completely fitted out with seatbelts for everyone, great air conditioning units, and large underfloor storage as standard.
Fuso Rosa
This is our little 22 seater bus, good for taking smaller groups or classes across town. Because it’s quite a small bus, it is handy for getting into those narrow or windy areas where it’s tricky for the bigger coaches to go.
This bus has a set roster going to Macreas gold mine, but can be used around school hours.
It has seatbelts and air conditioning, but doesn’t have underfloor storage so is limited on what extra gear can be taken. This is a great option to pair up with one of the larger coaches in case there are too many people to fit in one coach.
B12 Volvos
These are our older fleet of New Zealand built coaches. These coaches were made in the prime years of coach touring, from 1995 to 2001, and designed to be comfortable for long trips on NZ roads. They were made to last and have stood the test of time. We are currently refurbishing some of these coaches to get them looking new again.
These 49 seat buses are used for charters out of town or overnight trips. They all have seatbelt equipped reclining seats, air conditioning, PA and sound systems, underfloor lockers, and some have toilets fitted too.
Mercedes Benz 404
This coach is very similar to the Volvo fleet, but has a Mercedes Benz driveline and engine constructed into an Australian made coach body. It has all the same features as our Volvo buses, but is built a bit more rugged and tough to handle Australian conditions. This is the bus of choice for getting off the beaten track or down those long gravel roads off the main highway.
This is Jacob’s personal favorite to drive, a great cruising bus that travels along nicely on the open road, and a favourite for the passengers too.
Toyota Hiace Van
This is our small 12 seater van. There’s nothing fancy about this, but the ideal choice for taking smaller groups around. Copes beautifully with narrow and windy Dunedin roads, and gets your group from A to B reliably.
