Health and Safety
It might not be as exciting as a six-cylinder 2956cc engine, but it’s important to keep our passengers safe.
We maintain the highest standards in our buses and drivers. As a result, we provide you a safe, comfortable, clean, and trustworthy service.
There are several NZ standards and laws we must meet in order to provide health and safety compliant service for you. These include:
- Vehicle maintenance
- Driver management and licencing
- Hazard reporting and health and safety requirements
Our Coach Drivers
All our drivers have full, clean drivers’ licences with passenger endorsements. Police vetting checks and health assessments are part of the process to obtain a passenger endorsement, so you know our drivers are trustworthy and reliable. NZ law also specifies how many hours they are safely allowed to work, and we strictly meet all requirements.
Coach Maintenance
Our fleet is meticulously maintained. All our coaches and buses are checked for roadworthiness regularly, and any maintenance needed is attended to promptly. We clean our buses every day, so they are hygienic for you.
All our buses have basic first aid kits as well as fire extinguishers on board. All our buses have seatbelts for passengers.
Hazard Reporting
We follow all Health and Safety NZ systems for hazard identification, reporting, and management. Drivers regularly attend health and safety inductions for many of the sites they have to attend, and if this is a requirement for your organisation, please let us know. We can ensure pre-trip risk assessments are carried out and any risks mitigated.
We assess the specific risks associated with each trip, such as the weather conditions, road types, and the needs of the passengers.
Air Conditioning
The air conditioning systems in our buses use a mixture of recirculated and fresh air. This means fresh air is regularly added, so it’s not the same air recirculated all the time. Filters in the air conditioning units are cleaned on a schedule so you always have fresh, and temperature controlled, air supply.
